Organization
and Funding:
Intersect
Youth and Family Services primarily receives its funding from the Ministry
for Children and Families. We
are a federally registered non-profit society and are administered
according to legislation of the provincial government.
The
society has a ten member Board of Directors.
The Society’s membership elects directors, who are volunteers
from the community with a variety of experience and expertise.
Each director serves a three-year term on the Board.
Intersect
welcomes application for membership in the Society by any interested
adults who reside in the Society’s service area.
Intersect is a United Way member agency, and receives annual grants
from local and provincial charities and organizations.
Donations
to the Society by individuals and businesses are tax deductible.
